Hi there,

Last week we were cruelly reminded, once again, that we are living through a time unlike any other.

The Supreme Court’s decision to toss out a half-century of settled law and take away a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions is devastating – and leaves us all even more vulnerable to what this far-right court may do next in pursuit of their extreme agenda.

The truth is, there is no one answer to how we get through this.

It will take all of us, showing up in ways large and small, to make sure we elect leaders at every level of government who actually represent the will of the people and can deliver the future we know is possible.

That work must continue today.

So in that spirit, we’re excited to share our first round of 2022 Win the Era endorsements.

These are six outstanding candidates who are breaking barriers and changing the face of leadership across our country, and we hope you’ll take a minute to hear why they are so proud to be a part of this community.

Rep Sharice Davids for US House KS-3

“I’m honored to have Win the Era’s endorsement as a Barrier Breaker in Congress. From the beginning, I’ve fought for equitable, inclusive and sustainable solutions that will benefit all Americans. Win the Era and I share the commitment in building a more prosperous future for every person in America – regardless of their background or where they come from. I look forward to making this vision a reality in Kansas and beyond.”

Assemblymember Sandra Jauregui for NV Assembly-41

“I’m proud to have the support of Win the Era in my efforts to deliver a renewed promise to communities in Nevada and across the country that working to help people secure better lives isn’t a partisan calling, but an American ideal.”

State Sen Shevrin Jones for FL Senate-35

"I am honored to earn this recognition from the incredible Win the Era community. Now more than ever, our elected leaders must be bold and ambitious -- especially as extreme politicians nationwide attack our most fundamental rights and attempt to stand in the way of progress at every level of government. Just as I've devoted my life to service, I'm committed to doing everything I can to ensure we are on a sustainable path forward to build stronger, healthier, safer communities where everyone can truly thrive."

Kermit Jones for US House CA-3

"As a doctor and Navy Veteran, I've always put service to our country over partisan politics. I learned the value of hard work growing up on a family farm and after 9/11, I joined the Navy and served in Iraq as a combat flight surgeon. When I came home, I was chosen by President Obama to help improve health care for veterans. Now, I'm running for congress to bring a new era of service oriented leadership to Washington. For the first time in decades, we can flip this newly redrawn, traditionally red district, blue."

Rep Lauren Underwood for US House IL-14

"I am grateful to Win the Era for their endorsement and their commitment to supporting leaders who represent a more inclusive, prosperous, and decent future for America. I’m honored to be named a Barrier Breaker and will continue to work hard to bring about a new politics that unites us in support of bold, equitable, and sustainable solutions in Illinois and across the country."

Mayor Nan Whaley for OH Governor

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Win the Era and to be listed as a Barrier Breaker candidate. Ohio deserves a governor with a bold vision for our state - where one good job is enough to provide for you and your family and where you don’t have to move away from opportunity.”

This team never backs down from a challenge.

So let’s show these terrific candidates the strength of our team and, if you can, please chip in to support their races today. 100% of your donation will go directly to their campaigns.

There’s a lot of work to be done.

But if we lift each other up, have each other's backs, and never lose sight of the values that brought us together, then there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

That is how we will win, together.

Thank you,

Win the Era

P.S. We know we can’t treat federal offices like they’re the only ones that matter. Please email us at [email protected] to tell us about who you’re supporting this year, especially at the state & local level, and why they should be part of this community.
