John,
One of the reasons why I love calling the grassroots supporters who power this campaign is to hear your stories. In my most recent calls, I have heard your stories about standing up for civil rights, for the right to vote, for reproductive rights and more. I have spoken with folks from across Georgia. And I have had the chance to say thank you, directly, for all that you do for my campaign and in your communities.
Our work — to fire a dangerous, extremist governor and begin building One Georgia — will not be easy. But it is necessary, and I want to take the time to personally thank you for being a part of this team.
That is why I am calling our grassroots supporters once again.
John, my name may be on the ballot — but this campaign is not about me. It’s about your story, your family’s story and the stories of millions of Georgians across the state who Brian Kemp has left behind.
Especially after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, it is so easy to feel helpless — but it is vital to remember that we are not alone. To believe in our ability to protect one another. To lean into our capacity to defend our rights in the streets and at the ballot box.
I’m making these calls because this grassroots team is the backbone of our campaign, John. And I want you to hear from me directly that together, if we unite, good will be won.
Let's get it done,
Stacey
