You heard that right. 📣That's So Black is BACK!📣

MediaJustice is proud to be partnering with FreeSpeechTV for a virtual screening of our digital series TODAY, June 28th at 7pm ET, with our very own Narrative Director Eteng Ettah and Media2070's Venneikia Williams as panelists. 

Our series spotlights how Black people created Internet culture as we know it today. We've touched on how Black women have used media and the internet to keep each other safe from patriarchal violence, to how white media has profited off of popular Black, queer, and trans ballroom slang as popular phrases. After all, pop culture is just expired Black culture, and with the prominence of social media, the lines between Internet culture and pop culture are blurred.
