Barely an hour after the Supreme Court’s appalling and harmful decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Virginia Republicans announced they plan to pursue a 15-week abortion ban.

To be clear: Abortion is still legal in the Commonwealth. But it just goes to show what we’re up against on both the state and national level.

Mark is not giving up this fight. He’s sponsoring legislation to codify reproductive rights nationally. Earlier this month, he also launched an effort to demand Google take actions to prevent anti-abortion clinics from showing up in search results when people seek information about getting an abortion. 

And he’s redoubling his efforts to help elect pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot here in Virginia and all over the United States. 

We’ve got just 2 days left until the next FEC quarterly deadline. We want to put up a huge number. And we want all the political prognosticators to see how serious we are about expanding our Senate majority so we can codify the right to access to reproductive rights into law nationally.
