Last week's decision by the Supreme Court is an assault on women and families in America, especially those in rural America. Make no mistake, women living in rural counties will be disproportionately impacted by the overturning of Roe v. Wade, as they already have limited access to health care.

Take a look at this map of the 26 states that have banned or will likely ban access to abortion for women. What do they have in common? Large rural populations and geographic locations that now put them hundreds to thousands of miles away from health care that could save their life.

Before this Supreme Court decision, we had a health care crisis in rural America. Now, it's only gotten worse, and women bear the brunt. The only thing that can ensure women in these states can receive the health care they need is electing leaders, up and down the ballot, who think a woman's health care decisions are best handled between her and her doctor. Can you chip in to help us get the word out about how the Supreme Court decision impacts women in rural areas and help to elect pro-choice Democrats?

Friday was a sad day for women in America, and we at One Country hope that women and those who love them show up in November to vote for leaders that will put in place policies and laws that ensure their health and value are protected. Help us do that by donating $5.

Thanks,

One Country
