We’re at a turning point in our country. Even though Democrats have a thin
majority, Republicans are using the filibuster to block important bills in
the Senate.

50/50 is not enough. It’s clear we must expand the Democratic Senate
majority to abolish the filibuster and make the real progress American
people want. I believe Tim Ryan is our opportunity to do just that.

I was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. That’s actually how I got my
start in music—performing in my church choir. I will always have a special
place in my heart for the Buckeye State.

Ohio’s U.S. Senate race in November is one of the most important fights of
our lifetime, which is why I couldn’t just sit on the sidelines. And you
can’t either.

Tim’s right-wing opponent and his billionaire backers are already spending
upwards of $80 MILLION to keep Ohio red and ensure Mitch McConnell retakes
total control of the Senate.

If that happens, friend, voting rights, a higher minimum wage,
affordable health care, high-quality education for all our kids, and more
are in jeopardy. I don’t want to think about the damage that Republicans

opponent JD Vance in the polls.
