John, the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has made it clear what’s at stake in this election.
The future of abortion access in Pennsylvania will be decided by the winner of this Governor’s race.
My opponent, Doug Mastriano, says banning abortion outright is his “number one priority.”
Let’s be clear about what that means: He’s saying there should be zero exceptions for rape, incest, or if life of the mother is at risk. He even said that if he was elected Governor, he’d make abortion a crime and throw doctors in jail for performing them.
Now that the right to choose is up to the states, Mastriano could actually make all that happen if he wins this competitive election.
But that kind of dangerous extremism is why I’m so grateful this team is working day and night to win this race, stop Mastriano from gaining the power to enact that ban, and most importantly defend abortion access in Pennsylvania. I cannot win this race alone — and that’s why I’m coming to you right now.
It’s up to us to defeat Mastriano and keep abortion safe, legal, and accessible here. Can you split a donation of any amount between my campaign and CommonGood to help us defeat an anti-abortion extremist at the ballot box? [[link removed]]
