OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) Daily Report 287/2019 issued on 4 December 2019Based on information from the Monitoring Teams as of 19:30, 3 December 2019. All times are in Eastern European Time. Summary
- Compared with the previous reporting period, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations in Donetsk region and more in Luhansk region.
- Inside and near the disengagement area near Petrivske, SMM unmanned aerial vehicles spotted anti-tank mines and repairs to the road north of the area.
- Inside the disengagement area near Zolote, the SMM saw workers from non-government-controlled areas removing and burning cut vegetation.
- The SMM observed anti-tank mines near non-government-controlled Styla and signs of demining activities near government-controlled Kryva Luka, both in Donetsk region.
- The SMM monitored adherence to a localized ceasefire to facilitate drilling of water wells near non-government-controlled Pankivka in Luhansk region.
- The SMM’s freedom of movement continued to be restricted, including at a checkpoint of the armed formations near Nova Marivka.
