Cleveland.com: "Candidates get a boost from Sherrod Brown in recent local races"

This fall, we launched the Canary Candidates Program to elect Ohioans who champion progressive values and the Dignity of Work, and I'm proud to report that 34 of our endorsed candidates won their elections this month.

We can keep this momentum going into 2020 and beyond as we flip the Senate and put a Democrat in the White House -- with your continued support. Chip in again today.

These are important wins for Ohio.

Our Canary Candidates Program helped send pro-worker Ohio Democrats to school boards, city councils, and mayor's offices all over the Buckeye State. They're a strong, diverse group of progressive leaders, including 15 women, seven African-American candidates, one Pakistani-American candidate, and the first Nepali-Bhutanese elected official in the entire country, and they'll play an important role in driving Ohio forward.
