I know you’re getting a lot of emails. But I need to explain what’s at stake before House Democrats’ End of Quarter Deadline in 48 hours.

I’m a Congressman.

I’m the Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

But I’m also a dad.

I feel a responsibility to my children -- and every kid out there -- to leave them a country and planet that’s better than I found it.

For me, that means:

– Stopping McConnell’s cuts to public education
– Passing gun safety laws to protect lives, not NRA profits

But this isn’t about me.

Republicans are inches from taking back all we’ve won -- and they’ll keep sacrificing our children’s futures for their personal gain if we can’t fully fund our defense.

Closing the budget gap is our BEST chance to defeat the GOP and their dark money donors in this election.
