This is an awesome chance to change the course of someone’s life. For every Special Olympics athlete tearing it up on the court, there are dozens more waiting on the sidelines ready to get in the game.
My name is Mia Camp. I started participating in Special Olympics when I was just eight years old and I was immediately hooked. A few weeks ago, I had the honor of competing in the USA Games as a part of Team Minnesota’s first-ever all-female half-court basketball team!
I want every Special Olympics athlete to experience the powerfully energizing feeling of shooting a basketball, hearing the crowd's roar, and celebrating no matter the outcome. We need 1,000 basketballs before midnight on June 30. So far, we have 367 basketballs, but it doesn't look like you have donated – yet! Can we count on your support today? >>
Because of people like you, I’ve been able to find my team, my community, and my passion. And I know that each and every basketball donated will help change the life of the athlete that picks it up.
Will you donate today to help more athletes like me get back on the court?
Thanks for all you do for athletes like me,
Mia Camp
