Take the Plastic Free July Challenge!
Summer is here and it's time to take the Plastic Free July Challenge. Every July we join thousands of people all over the world to consciously reduce our use of single use plastic products, which are made from fossil fuels and additionally pollute our environment with harmful microplastics that stick around for centuries. Look out for more plastic free actions from us this month.

Write from the Heart: The Final Week of Comments
For months now New York State's Climate Action Council has been accepting comments on its draft Scoping Plan. And they've gotten thousands of comments, with 350Brooklyn members alone sending in hundreds of comments. The comment period ends on July 1st and now we're asking you to send in one final comment. We've submitted plenty of technical recommendations already. For this final comment we're asking you to write from the heart about why it matters to you that the final Scoping Plan gets it right. Tell the CAC to write a plan that carries out our landmark law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, so that it fulfills its promise to us all. Open the comment page here.
Donate from the Heart: Give to 350Brooklyn
You know 350Brooklyn as an amazingly effective community of people committed to moving us off fossil fuels and building a greener, fairer world. It's your energy that pushes our work forward. While our successes are overwhelmingly due to our amazing volunteer efforts, we do need some money to support our work. This month, at mid-year, we are coming to you asking to raise $5,000 in additional money to expand our support of our Media Team. We're half-way there! Can you help get us all the way? A monthly donation gives us a steady stream of revenue but one-time donations gratefully received, too! Donate here!

- 2) SUBMIT WRITTEN COMMENTS on the Green Jobs provisions of Local Law 97 (the world's most important municipal level climate and jobs law) until EOD 6/30.
- 3) CALL GOVERNOR HOCHUL - at 877-235-6537 - to urge her to deny Greenidge’s Title V Air Permits AND to go ahead and sign the Crypto Moratorium bill now!
- 4) We'll also continue to pressure Speaker Adams to schedule a vote on Universal Residential Composting.
