John--
Today’s the day! Polls are open from 6 am to 9 pm, find yours at FindMyPollSite.Vote.NYC.
On the ballot today are candidates for Governor, Assembly Members, District Leaders, and Judicial Delegates and Alternates (the primaries for Congress and the State Senate will be taking place in August).
In a time when human rights are under assault, vote for the candidates who never stop fighting for them.
If Ana Maria inspired you when she confronted Senator Jeff Flake in the elevator to demand he not vote to confirm Justice Kavanaugh, vote for her today to bring that determination and heart to fight for all of us across the state as Lieutenant Governor. If Jumaane’s vision for a public safety that centers community and demands justice and an end to gun violence gives you hope for the state we want to be, vote for that today.
In addition to Jumaane Williams and Ana Maria Archila, I am supporting several progressive incumbent and insurgent Assembly, District Leader and Judicial Delegate candidates running in competitive races across the city. If you live in their district (you can look up yours here!) please vote for:
- Juan Ardila for AD 37
- Samy Nemir for AD 54
- Phara Souffrant Forrest for AD 57
- Monique Chandler-Waterman for AD 58
- Brooklyn Can’t Wait’s District Leader Slate
- Progressive Judicial Delegate Slate in 44th AD
Vote for the NY leaders we need,
Brad
