Friend --
Less than 100,000 people voted for Boris Johnson but today he
becomes the new PM.
Yesterday was never going to be a day to celebrate as neither Hunt
nor Johnson would be better than the other, both only represent a
class of millionaires. But another unelected Tory PM faces huge
problems, and we need to make those problems a whole lot bigger.
While Brexit will continue to dominate the headlines in the weeks
and months to come it’s our responsibility to make sure this new
government is not let off the hook when it comes to the deliberate
underfunding of our NHS, the growing housing crisis, the dismantling
of our welfare state, and the devastating austerity policies that have
left so many suffering for nearly a decade.
Boris has a mandate of exactly 0.139625757576% of the UK's
population and we should make sure he knows it from day 1. We are calling on everyone to get out
on the streets now to force a General Election so we can all have a
say over who runs our country.

branch to support and help build the demonstration and every
individual to do all they can to get to Manchester on 29
September.
