I know many of us are still trying to process all of the news from last week. The Supreme Court overturned nearly 50 years of precedent by striking down the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling — restricting access to reproductive health care across the country. But we also made significant progress on gun violence prevention, with the House passing the first major piece of gun safety legislation in nearly three decades that was signed into law on Saturday.
You may be wondering what this means for our communities. That's why I'm hosting a CA-34 Telephone Town Hall this Wednesday, June 27, at 6:00 pm PT, to answer your questions and provide updates on my work in Congress.
