Raising our voices at rallies is just the start of what we have to do – we need your help
I’m not going to sugarcoat it. The last few days have been tough, but they have also been so inspiring. We’ve seen a major outpouring of support for women’s health care at rallies across the country over the weekend – and it gives me hope for the future.
However, raising our voices at rallies is just the start of what we have to do. The far-right’s plan to attack more of our constitutional rights is just getting started. That’s why it’s so important we are ready to defeat conservative politicians at every level.
Our campaign for Congress is facing one of our first major tests: Our FEC deadline goal. After June 30th, our fundraising numbers will become public and pundits on both sides of the aisle will be analyzing our numbers to see if we have what it takes to compete – and win – in this competitive district.
We have seen just how low Republicans like Pete Stauber are willing to go. In addition to praising the Supreme Court’s repeal of Roe v. Wade, Stauber also voted AGAINST the historic and bipartisan legislation on gun violence prevention earlier this month.
Stauber isn’t pro-life. He’s pro- any lobbyist, Super PAC, or right-wing group that will help him rise to even more power. It’s shameful – and we must stop him this November before he becomes the next GOP poster boy peddling the dangerous Trump-Republican agenda.
