Friend, I’m proud to be gay. It’s who I am, and who I always will be.


But I’ll be up front with you: I’m frightened and enraged by recent events. The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade proves the far-right will stop at nothing to invade the lives and privacy of marginalized people.

This opinion is just the tip of the iceberg, friend. It’s no secret that MAGA Republicans want to recriminalize me, my identity, and my community next. In fact, the Supreme Court decision specifically called out gay marriage as a potential future target.  And we’ve already seen these attacks start in Arizona where the gay and trans communities have been targeted with hateful laws.

So in a district that Biden won by just .1%, it’s more critical than ever that we keep this seat — and our slim House majority — in Democratic hands.
