Dear RG community—
The Supreme Court rulings last week left us angry, sad, numb, and among all the other feelings, clear. The conservative right has been working towards this vision for decades. We invite RG members in this moment to take a breath and recommit to fighting for and funding liberatory organizing for the long haul.
We know that reproductive justice leaders have a plan for getting through this time and into what’s next. We trust their leadership and know that a well-resourced reproductive justice movement is what is and always has been needed in a country where health care, including abortion care, is not available to all.
Below are some ways to engage in the coming days, weeks, and months ahead:
GROUNDSWELL FUND
As one of the largest funders of the RJ movement, Groundswell is ready for this moment. Over the last two decades, we’ve built a system to resource reproductive and social justice movements becoming a channel into which individual donors and foundations can pour resources to reach vital work at the grassroots.
