Team —
As we prepare to close out our books for this quarter, everyone at The American SOS Project is working hard to make sure our first public FEC report shows the true strength of this organization.
Earlier this month, when Jim Marchant — an open election denier — won the Republican primary for Nevada secretary of state, we knew we had to ramp up our efforts immediately. But the truth is, we're a brand-new organization, and our work requires people who believe in it to step up and invest in it. And the number we show the world after this week needs to make clear that we can go toe to toe with Trump's allies like Marchant. Can we hit 10,000 donations before the end of the month?
If you’re reading this, I hope you’ll make one of those 10,000 donations right now.
Let me tell you something, this goal isn’t just about reaching a big, round number. It’s about building the foundation we need to fight in battlegrounds across the country between now and November.
The thing about these secretary of state races we're focused on is that they’re not only the key to Trump’s schemes to steal a second term, they actually fly under the radar of many voters — meaning that more often than not, there aren’t millions of dollars being spent to win. In fact, a few hundred thousand dollars can mean the difference between a principled public official overseeing the 2024 vote counting, or a Trump crony conspiracy theorist.
When you look at it in those terms, it’s a no-brainer: We’ve got to do everything we can to raise that money, use it to defeat Trump’s election deniers, and secure the future of fair elections ahead of 2024.
This team can make a real difference in these critical secretary of state battlegrounds if we stay focused and put our money where our mouths are. So how about it — will you help reach this 10,000 donation goal by chipping in right now?
