Hi Folks -- Terri here.
I’m going to ask you to chip in $15 to help me reach my end-of-quarter goal and keep up my campaign’s momentum. But first, I want to talk to you about this race.
When I look back on how far I’ve come, it sometimes seems unbelievable. Only in a country as great as ours could anything I’ve accomplished even be possible.
Only in America could a sharecropper’s granddaughter grow up to attend Princeton University.
And only in America could a young girl from a small town dream of becoming the first Black woman to represent her community.
I don’t take these blessings lightly. I’ve fought hard every day to make sure everyone in my district has what they need to reach their potential.
Whether it’s working to uphold reproductive freedom, rebuilding our infrastructure, investing in our children’s education, or fighting to secure our voting rights, I have never been afraid to stand up and fight for what we need.
But national Republicans don’t see it that way.
They don’t care about all the progress we’ve made, and they won’t fight to secure our rights. Far-right radicals are more concerned with flipping this seat red and threatening our democracy than making sure our families have what they need to survive.
My MAGA opponent is determined to hold us back from progress. It’s up to us to keep radical Republicans like her out of the halls of Congress so we can continue to build on the progress we’ve made.
Right now, I have a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline approaching fast, and I need your help to maintain my campaign’s momentum. I’m setting a $10,000 fundraising goal, and I know we can reach it in no time if we all come together for the America we’ve created. Can I count on you to chip in?
