This weekend put into sharp contrast what the paths before us are, John.

Our team had a great time with Odessa at Nashville Pride, celebrating the progress we've made in an America where you can love who you want to love and be who you want to be.

But a radical majority on the Supreme Court, put in place by presidents who didn't win the popular vote, spent the past few days stripping right after right from the American people, trying to create by force an America where people aren't allowed to be full and equal citizens with control over our own bodies.

We're not going to pretend like this isn't going to be a tough fight to win. But if we come together, we do have a shot at keeping a pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ rights majority in the House of Representatives. And then we can codify Roe and the Equality Act into the law of the land.

So that's why we're asking if you can make a donation today. We're fighting hard to make sure our country goes down the path of more rights, not fewer. Your donation will go directly toward our effort to elect Odessa as the first Black, gay representative in Tennessee. And if we know anything about her, it's that she'll go to Congress and fight for every one of us to have the rights we deserve.
