[1]Women's March
John, last week
when I reached out to you about our upcoming Women’s Convention, the
Supreme Court had not yet overturned Roe v. Wade.
The constitutional right to an abortion had not yet been taken away.
And the right-wing extremists who led the charge for this outrageous
decision had not yet seen just how enraged and determined we are.
Now, our Women’s Convention – and our choice to convene in Texas – has
taken on a new level of significance. We refuse to cede any ground to
those who would strip us of our rights and turn back the clock. In Texas,
we will grieve together, recharge together, take strength from one
another, and build the kind of power this moment demands.

John, this fight
isn’t over. We won’t give up. We will act in solidarity, gathering
together to create a unified strategy. We aren’t just building a community
– we’re building power in the belly of the beast.
