Since the New Mexico Primary Election, our state has gotten more than its fair share of national news.

Conspiracy theorists all over the state - and the nation for that matter - are trying every trick in the book to break down our democracy. That includes my opponent who supports the Otero County Commission's baseless attempt not to certify election results. They're looking to make an example out of New Mexico, but not while I'm here.

As Secretary of State, it has been my mission to keep all votes safe, keep voting accessible, and provide transparent elections. I’m up against conspiracy theorists who are willing to do anything to take our democracy down. That’s why we need to raise $3,000 by July 2nd to make sure our campaign has the resources to fight them off. July 2nd is a public filing deadline for our campaign, and it’s the last time my opponent will see our fundraising numbers until just before the election. We cannot show weakness. If we do, New Mexico will become a prime target for Big Lie believers to show they can take over an entire state’s election system. With our rights on the line, we cannot let that happen.
