We have a tough fight on our hands, JOHN.

The Boston Globe just released a poll that Republican Allan Fung is leading the race for Rhode Island's 2nd Congressional District. The Boston Globe said that this is the GOP's "best chance to flip" this seat.

This proves what we already knew: there's a lot at stake in this election, and the race for RI-02 is going to be tough. But the poll also shows that Seth is the Democrat in the strongest position to take on Allan Fung as Seth is the only Democrat who holds Fung to a single digit lead. That's why he was just endorsed by the Rhode Island Democratic Party.

If Allan Fung is elected, his first vote in Congress would be to give control of the House to Kevin McCarthy and these extreme Republicans who care more about doing Trump's bidding than helping working people. With everything from reproductive rights to gun safety legislation on the ballot, we can't let that happen.

We can keep this seat blue and send Seth to Congress to fight for every Rhode Islander, but it won't be easy. We know that after Republicans see this poll, they're going to ramp up their attacks against Seth and pour money into our district to flip RI-02 red.
