With the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade and denying women the right to choose, the choice for Congress in MI-10 couldn’t be more clear.
John James was glad when a woman’s right to choose, and he wants to see a national abortion ban without exceptions for incest or rape.
Here's how he responded to the Supreme Court ruling:
Taking away the right to choose is nothing to be "glad" about. Criminalizing the victims of rape and incest is nothing to celebrate. For the first time in our history, the Court is rolling back Americans' constitutional freedoms.
These views are too extreme for Michigan and too extreme for Congress.

The Supreme Court ruling was a travesty, as it directly violates the constitutional right to privacy. The court may have kicked women’s rights to the states, but make no mistake, if John James and MAGA Republicans have their chance, they will ban abortion nationwide.
