Maine can’t afford another four years of Paul LePage. He has the power to undo all of the progress we’ve made while he ran away to Florida.

John,

Paul LePage claims to be LePage 2.0, but his latest comments on Medicaid show us he’s still the same tyrant as before.

Despite the fact that Mainers overwhelmingly voted to expand Medicaid in 2018, LePage ignored us and blocked the expansion. Since Governor Mills has taken office, we’ve been able to expand care and cover over 93,000 people across the state.

Additionally, in 2019, Gov. Mills and Democrats in Augusta passed a law that required coverage of reproductive health care by Medicaid within the state of Maine. This important step forward expands access for reproductive rights to vulnerable communities who often cannot afford this life saving care.

In comparison, LePage just told conservative radio his thoughts on expanding Medicaid – “it's bad for everybody.” If Paul LePage becomes governor, he could undo our progress. Health care for Mainers is at risk. Will you help us stop Paul LePage from taking power? Pitch in $5, $10, $20.22, $50, $100 or whatever you can now.

And in typical LePage fashion, his regressive comments didn’t just stop with his plans for Medicaid. He recently told another conservative news site that a third term would look “an awful lot like what we did in the first administration.”

So what does that look like? Well, just like the first: attempts to restrict and ban abortion, four years of hateful and bigoted comments, restrictions on LGBTQ+ Mainers, and a sputtering economy.

Maine can’t afford another four years of Paul LePage. He has the power to undo all of the progress we’ve made while he ran away to Florida. Help us tell Paul LePage that Maine doesn’t want him here. Donate any amount now.

Thank you,
Drew Gattine
