This month, I announced my reelection campaign for Mayor of Chicago.

In my campaign video, I addressed what critics have been saying about me since I entered office: that I'm tough. That I get angry. And that I take things personally.

Taking on systematic corruption, racism, and inequality isn't for the faint of heart. These are issues that hit close to home for me — and when progress is slow, I get impatient.
