With only a few weeks to go before the June 28 primary, the contest to replace outgoing Democratic Rep Ed Perlmutter is heating up.

Democrats have a strong candidate in State Senator Brittany Petersen, who has been a critical voice in the legislature—passing laws to combat climate change, common sense gun reform, and improving wages and working conditions for everyday Coloradans.

The Colorado Turnout Project is working to keep this seat blue, but Kevin McCarthty and the NRCC have targeted this district as part of the path for Republicans to take control of the House.
