I am horrified that a Republican appointed majority on the Supreme Court has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, stripping away a person's fundamental right to autonomy over their body.

With this decision now public, our only path forward to protect the right to reproductive choice is through legislation at the federal level.

In the wake of this reckless decision, I'm rushing support to three Democratic challengers who can beat their GOP opponents and help us get this done: John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, Tim Ryan in Ohio, and Cheri Beasley in North Carolina. This patriarchal, patronizing, and frankly dangerous decision sends us back decades in our shared fight to protect every person's right to reproductive health care.

Furthermore, this decision points to an increasingly politicized judiciary, which seems to only answer to a narrow group of right-wing stakeholders. It is not only a woman's right to choose that is at risk, but our very democracy itself.

Lt. Governor Fetterman, Rep. Ryan, and former Chief Justice Beasley are three leaders I trust to fight fiercely for the right of every woman to make choices about her own body while defending the sanctity of our democracy.

But to get each of them elected this November, expand our Democratic majority, and protect a woman's right to choose, it's going to take all of us. Please, before this week’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline, will you chip in $10 or more right now?
