I'm reaching out today because in exactly three days we're facing our first big end-of-quarter deadline of the general election, after which our fundraising numbers will be made public for everyone to see.
Unfortunately, we're currently falling behind our projections. It's typical for fundraising to slow after an election, but I'm starting to get nervous that our numbers won't pick up in time for the general election.
John, if we're going to protect reproductive rights, we need to elect a Democratic governor and senator in PA. And to do that, we need to ensure high voter turnout in Western Pennsylvania. Summer's doubled voter turnout before, but now we need this people-powered movement to step up and help her do it again.

At the end of the month, we'll close the books on our fundraising and publicly report our numbers for the media, pundits, and our supporters to see. We'll also get a closer look at our Republican opponent's finances — and how much support he has from corporate PACs.
