Dear John,
Abortion is freedom. On Friday, June 24th, the Supreme Court of the United States chose to steal that freedom from us when they released a ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.
Within 30 days, abortion care will be banned in the state of Texas— and while many of us wonder what to do next, we cannot let ourselves slip into hopelessness.
Texas Freedom Network is in the fight for safe, legal abortion for ALL, no matter what. Right now, we need support from people like you to meet the challenges that lie ahead. [[link removed]]

Even though the majority of the country supports access to abortion, far-right politicians continue weaponizing and criminalizing our bodies for power and control. We've seen the devastating effects of these tactics firsthand in Texas.
While we've lived under a six-week abortion ban since September 2021, our state leaders simultaneously continue to go after transgender kids and their families, as well as our religious and voting rights. They’re even banning books and censoring what our children learn in school.
Let me be clear: They are attacking us because they're terrified of the progressive power we've built.
This is why I’m following up with our most loyal supporters – to ask you once again to be our partners in defending democracy in this historically bleak moment. [[link removed]]
As far-right politicians plot their next attack on democracy, TFN needs your support to ensure that future generations have more rights, not less.
We cannot let them take our power. Please help TFN defend our democracy by sending the most generous donation you can today. [[link removed]]
