On Friday, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in an unprecedented move. The Supreme Court should function as the ultimate arbiter of the Constitution, but with Trump’s three ultra-conservative appointments, the court all but answers to the far-right agenda.

Justices should be loyal to the Constitution – not any political party or president.

So some Democrats have proposed a solution: Court expansion. That’s why Congress has already proposed a bill to expand the court from nine justices to 13 – allowing President Biden to nominate four new justices.
