There is still time to help...

Hi Jack,

I know your time is precious and many of us are enjoying or planning summer vacations, perhaps in the redwoods! But I wanted to remind you that there is still time to be part of this critical land acquisition for Save the Redwoods League:

Give by June 30, and you can help forever protect Atkins Place — a critical wildlife corridor and buffer to the breathtaking old-growth of Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve. [[link removed]]

As the Land Protection Manager at Save the Redwoods League, I’ve been working on this purchase for over two years, and I’m beyond thrilled that we’re so close to the finish line. The outpouring of support for Atkins Place has been amazing and impressive!

Protecting the old-growth is about nurturing whole watersheds — like the sweeping landscapes you can see from the ridge in the heart of Atkins Place, with redwood-studded hillsides and the South Fork of the Big River snaking below, teeming with salmon.

We’ve raised a large portion of our 1.3 million fundraising goal for Atkins Place, but we’re not there yet. Will you give in the next 4 days to close the gap?

Thank you for being part of this effort!
