[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

Losing this race in North Carolina would be a huge setback.

Last week’s SCOTUS decisions made clear how fragile our rights are, and Ted Budd wants to roll back our freedoms even further.

Not only does he want a complete national abortion ban without any exceptions, but he also has no interest in keeping our communities safe with commonsense, bipartisan steps to reduce gun violence.

On the same day that he called the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade a “historic victory,” he sided with the corporate gun lobby and voted AGAINST the bipartisan gun safety bill. BOTH of our state’s current Republican senators helped lead the negotiations for this commonsense legislation.

Ted Budd would be a MASSIVE step backward for our state. He has proven he’s in the pocket of the corporate gun lobby and extreme far-right, and he refuses to defend our rights and freedoms.

Cheri has made clear: She would not have hesitated to vote for commonsense gun safety legislation to keep communities safe and save lives, and she will not hesitate to cast the deciding vote to end the filibuster and codify abortion rights.

If you are all in to defeat Ted Budd and keep his far-right agenda out of the U.S. Senate, then we need you to make a contribution — of any amount — to Cheri Beasley’s campaign today.

The choice here in this race could not be any clearer, and we cannot afford to lose with so much on the line.

Thank you for pitching in today. Each donation before the FEC deadline sends a powerful message that Democrats are fired up and ready to win in November.
