You get a LOT of campaign emails about FEC end of quarter deadlines, and I know how it looks.

It seems like just an excuse to raise money, but these deadlines are critically important to our mission.

Let me break down why.

Every quarter, the FEC releases fundraising numbers for every single candidate running for Congress.

That’s over a thousand people across the political spectrum vying for a seat in Washington DC, John.

And the people who raise the most are the ones who people pay attention to. Those are the candidates and members who set the tone for the conversation and for our country.

If we can’t raise money in the election, how are we supposed to raise awareness for the most important issues in Congress?

Now, our second end of quarter deadline of the year is coming up, and we want to get a head start so we can show America strong numbers, John.
