When I saw that the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, I immediately reached out to the campaign to see if there was anything I could do to help.

As a practicing OBGYN, this fight is personal for me. Abortion is healthcare. I can tell you first-hand: Criminalizing abortions won’t stop them from happening. It will only put my patients in danger and deepen already staggering inequalities in health outcomes and healthcare access.
 
I know we can trust Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan to defend our reproductive rights, but they’re in a close race with two anti-choice extremist Republicans who have pledged to pass an abortion ban without exceptions for victims of rape or incest if they win in November. 
 
John, I refuse to watch that happen without a fight. That’s why I’m reaching out directly today. I just got word that Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are still trailing their end-of-quarter goal by more than $32,000 heading into Thursday’s deadline.
