Friend, Today is the day! More than 100 faith leaders and coalition members are headed to the National Sheriffs Association annual conference for a Day of Action! Will you support this exciting action? The National Sheriffs Association claims to be a training center for public safety. Well, how can the public feel safe when they allow their members to have ties to white supremacist organizations like the Oath Keepers? How can the public feel safe when local sheriffs are collaborating with border enforcement and separating families? How can the public feel safe when Sheriffs Association committees harbor, train, and practice white supremacist tactics while lobbying for laws that further criminalize Black and brown people? Today, we’re taking our demands directly to their doorstep. We are exposing the role sheriffs play in racially profiling, incarcerating, and terrorizing our communities.
