The Constitution Party of North Carolina is the state’s only 100 percent pro-life political party. We applaud the United State Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe V Wade.
This decision did not abolish abortion but returned the issue back to the states. Our work has just begun in North Carolina. Now is the time to help us fight for the pre-born in North Carolina.
Governor Roy Cooper said on June 24, “For 50 years, women have relied on their constitutional right to make their own medical decisions, but today that right has been tragically ripped away. That means it’s now up to the states to determine whether women get reproductive health care, and in North Carolina they still can. I will continue to trust women to make their own medical decisions as we fight to keep politicians out of the doctor’s exam room."
It’s obvious the Republican leadership in North Carolina is not making it a priority to protect the pre-born as evidenced by Republican Speaker of the House Tim Moore’s statement in which he said, ”While I remain unequivocally pro-life, the short budget adjustment session does not afford us sufficient time to take up the issue.” Speaker Moore should be making this a top priority instead of waiting until January.
Speaker Moore also refuses to bring up impeachment charges against Governor Cooper for violating his oath of office during the Covid-19 pandemic thus enabling the pro-death Governor to remain in power.
It's time we make the unborn human life our top priority and stop playing politics with their lives. Now is the time to abolish the evil practice of abortion in the state of North Carolina.
