John,

On Friday, the Supreme Court issued a devastating and dangerous opinion overturning Roe and 50 years of precedent guaranteeing people who can become pregnant the constitutionally protected right to access abortion.

We knew this was coming and we are ready to fight back. Join us.

In his majority opinion, Justice Alito claimed that abortion “presents a profound moral issue on which Americans hold sharply conflicting views.” [1]

This could not be further from the truth. A majority of Americans support the right to access abortion.

Poll after poll has come out showing that a majority of Americans wanted Roe to stay – so much so that a polling done just days before this decision showed that a third of people would find a state less desirable to live in if it had an abortion ban. [2]

They know what we know. That abortion is freedom. It’s love. It’s family. And it’s unstoppable.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson
Executive Director, Reproaction

P.S. We are devastated but undeterred.
