Hi, it’s Bianca. If we haven’t met before, I’m the Campaign Manager for Team Booker.
As Campaign Manager, my number-one priority for this campaign is to make sure that our campaign can reach as many Kentucky voters as possible from now until Election Day (134 days to be exact).
That means for the next 134 days we need to make sure we have the funds required to make investments in our organizing strategy. Here are some examples of the expenses we need to fund:
- $0.05: The price of printing one mailer.
- $15.28: The price of funding one voter registration team. Each of our voter registration teams get clipboards, pens, printed materials to share with voters, and training from our organizing team.
- $47.59: The price of gas to drive 395 miles — from the furthest point of Kentucky to the other. Our staff and volunteers will be doing a lot of driving to reach every corner of Kentucky to do our organizing work.
I say all of this to underline why it’s so important we reach our big end-of-quarter fundraising goal next Thursday. Will you chip in $5 or anything you can right now to help reach our goal so we can make big investments in our organizing strategy?
Contribute $5
No one’s ever built a movement like this before in Kentucky.
Together, we are building the largest statewide deep organizing campaign in Kentucky’s history. That means inviting as many Kentuckians as possible to raise their voices in this upcoming election — especially those who have been historically disenfranchised from voting and folks who typically don’t turn in big numbers in our elections.
But we’re able to invest in our organizing strategy hinges on whether or not we reach our big goal on Thursday. So I have to ask one final time:
Will you please chip in $5 or whatever you can afford so we can fund our important organizing work? Every dollar you give helps us reach more Kentuckians from the hood to the holler.
Thank you for being a part of this team and this movement. I’m glad to have you on our side as we fight for the Commonwealth that we love so much.
Together,
Bianca
