- Egged on by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), leaders in Congress are calling for FRC and other organizations to lose our tax-exempt status;
- Liberal activists want to weaponize the IRS against Christian nonprofits and others with whom they disagree;
- A prominent politician publicly extended that threat to your church and any other institution that upholds biblical truth;
- And the SPLC is working in partnership with Planned Parenthood and the ACLU to infiltrate school districts across our nation through radically progressive education resources on sexuality and gender.
But the SPLC's schemes go far beyond working with their allies in Congress to financially punish believers like you and me, or lobbying state after state to supersede parents' values and altering school curriculum.
Their reach extends even into the videos we watch and search engines we use online -- not to mention what the mainstream media broadcasts as "news."
YouTube, part of Google's online empire, has admitted to relying on the SPLC in deciding which videos to "demonetize." This policy ensures conservative video producers like Dr. Michael Brown and PragerU have ads on videos but receive no part of the revenue.
The world's top search engine, Google also utilizes SPLC recommendations regarding which news outlets and websites rank high in its search results.
"Silicon Valley has the ability to put their thumb on the scale in a far more subtle and insidious way," said Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) at a Capitol Hill event last year. "Views that are unfavored simply disappear. Views they like magically bubble to the top."
FRC is NOT backing down from these insidious attacks.
