It’s Emily, Josh Riley’s Finance Director. I wanted to personally check in with you because we have our single-biggest fundraising deadline to-date coming up Thursday at midnight.
Here’s why it’s a big deal: every three months we are required by the FEC to publicly disclose our fundraising numbers. It’s a testament to the strength of our campaign’s grassroots support, especially because Josh refuses to take a cent of corporate PAC money.
Here’s why THIS report is an even bigger deal: The June end-of-quarter report will be the first public report since new district lines came out, and the first report that will be directly compared against Marcus Molinaro’s fundraising report.
That’s why we are making a big push to finish the quarter strong. We need to raise $15,000 before midnight Thursday, and I just pulled your supporter record before this big deadline strikes. Can we count on your first $5 contribution to get us started towards this goal?

This report is our ONLY end-of-quarter deadline before our primary, so we need a strong showing. There is a lot on the line this election, and Republican special interest groups are laser-focused on defeating Josh and turning NY-19 red.
We can’t let that happen.
Especially with the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade and more state legislatures passing bills further restricting reproductive rights. It’s never been more critical for Democrats to have the House majority so we can finally codify Roe v. Wade into law and protect the rights of millions of Americans.
So please, John, if it’s within your budget will you contribute your first $5, $10, or more today and help us have a strong showing for the end-of-quarter deadline?
