Friday's SCOTUS ruling overturning Roe v. Wade is devastating. It puts millions of lives at risk, and imposes untold suffering, particularly among poor and Black and Brown people. But on Friday, Mike Garcia was cheering.

For him, overturning Roe doesn't even go far enough, as he has co-sponsored one of the most far-right pieces of legislation that bans all abortions and even some contraception.

Mike Garcia's shameful extremism has no business representing this district. Not only is he one of the most anti-choice candidates in Congress, he continually votes against protecting the lives of children he so desperately says he defends, including:

-Voting against addressing the baby formula crisis;
-Voting against the Violence Against Women Act that protects families;
-Voting against the American Rescue Plan and paid family leave;
-Voting against every single piece of common-sense gun legislation to protect children from gun violence.
