Jack,
The Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade, a move that will disproportionately affect our Brown, Latinx, Indigenous, and Asian communities. With historical disparities in access to quality health care, high maternal mortality is already all too common in communities of color, and this decision will only exacerbate it more.
The work we do every day, registering and mobilizing voters of color, is not only necessary to reshape the political landscape of North Carolina but is essential for high-quality health care, reproductive freedom, and more.
So, Jack, will you join the New North Carolina Project’s call to repeal NC’s restrictive abortion laws and guarantee reproductive freedom for every North Carolinian? We need 500 signatures on our petition in the next 24 hours ➡️
While North Carolina will likely be one of the only states in the South to keep abortion legal, it comes at a major cost. With a nearly total ban on abortions after 20 weeks, mandatory delays, and little to no coverage for low-income individuals, North Carolina must do more to protect reproductive freedom and access to quality health care.
Add your name right now and help us reach 500 signatures in the next 24 hours to join the fight for equal rights in every way, shape, and form.
In this together,
New North Carolina Project
