US Supreme Court Reverses Roe v. Wade, Abortion to Be Illegal in Texas [[link removed]]

In a 6-3 decision released Friday, the United States Supreme Court overturned the landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, paving the way for states like Texas to outlaw abortion entirely.

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court has released its majority opinion in Dobbs v. Mississippi, a case challenging a Mississippi law than banned abortions after 15 weeks, finding that “the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”
