If there’s anything the last few years have shown us, it is that we can’t become complacent. The GOP wants to force women back into the home and crush the social, political, and economic progress that has been made over the last 70 years. Well, we’re not going back.
We need to have the fight right now to codify Roe v. Wade and expand women’s healthcare and reproductive rights. The moment that DC controls our right to bodily autonomy is the moment that we begin slipping back into the 1950s.
It’s time to look forward, never backward.
