For now, abortion is still legal in most states. If you or someone you know is seeking an abortion, go to AbortionFinder.org to learn about your options.

It's been two days since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and ended the constitutional right to abortion that’s been recognized for nearly 50 years. I want you to know that we are going to keep fighting for abortion access and working to connect patients to the care they need.

You can help by making an emergency gift right now — your donation will support patients seeking abortion access at Planned Parenthood health centers and will help provide other critical resources.1

As devastating as this ruling is, the immediate outcry all across the country gives me hope. People like you are coming together with the spirit of defiance and determination we need right now. I hope you will keep fighting — and I hope you know that you will never be in this fight alone.

In solidarity,

Kelley Robinson, Vice President of Advocacy & Organizing

PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Our worst fears have come true.

On Friday, the Supreme Court issued its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization to uphold Mississippi's abortion ban and eliminate the constitutional right to abortion.

This is a devastating loss.

There is so much pain in this moment, so much anger, so much grief. It is almost unbearable — to feel an essential right ripped away, to watch as a majority of justices put their personal ideology before the health of millions, to witness the cruelty of our broken system on display once more.

But we have spent years anticipating this very moment. And we are ready.

Right now, we need your help to make sure that Planned Parenthood can support patients and connect them to the care they need:

If you or someone you know is seeking an abortion, go to AbortionFinder.org to learn about your options.

You can also make an emergency gift right now. Your donation will support patients seeking abortion access at Planned Parenthood health centers and will help provide other critical resources.1

We will be living with the consequences of this radical and dangerous decision for years to come.

This crisis will continue to unfold as more states race to pass all-out abortion bans. As always, because of systemic racism and discrimination, those restrictions will fall hardest on patients with low incomes and Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities.

It's up to all of us to help patients get the care they need, no matter what it takes. Please, make your emergency gift now.

In the coming months, the Planned Parenthood community will be tested like never before. And I know this: We will share our strength even as we share our sadness.

We will find courage in community and hope in solidarity. We will continue to fight for our rights, we will continue to connect patients to the care they need, no matter what, and we will work to rebuild what has been lost. Our movement is resilient and determined, and you are an important part of our work.

As painful as this moment is, I need you to stay with us, and stay strong. Know that Planned Parenthood will never give up, and that together, we will keep working to protect and restore our rights.

Thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Alexis McGill Johnson, President & CEO
