Our opponent, Amanda Adkins, has made it clear she does not support abortion access even in the most dire of circumstances, so with Roe overturned we have no choice but to meet our FEC fundraising goal to prove the strength of our movement in standing up to extremists and delivering on progress.
Team, we have a big deadline right around the corner. Our Federal Election Commission (FEC) public filing deadline, the first deadline since we learned our new district lines, is just one week away. I’ll tell you why that matters, but first, I need to ask you to step up to help in our toss up race.Click here to donate $20 now.
Now, here’s what this deadline means for us:
Our numbers will become public (and be scrutinized!) for the first time since our opponent announced she’s for a TOTAL abortion ban and her dark money backers launched misleading attacks against our campaign.
It’s also the first deadline since redistricting happened and our race was officially categorized as a TOSS UP.
We won’t let our message and the work we’ve accomplished together over the past 4 years be buried by their dark money, but we have to have a strong report as we go into the summer campaign season.
It would have been the biggest FEC filing deadline of the campaign anyway, but because Roe is officially overturned, proving our strength against our anti-abortion opponent is even more crucial.
Our opponent is against reproductive rights, affordable healthcare, education funding, and gun violence prevention—and is one of the most ardent Brownback supporters in our state.
If elected, she would spell disaster for working Kansans, bringing us back to a time when Brownback rolled back our healthcare and destroyed our schools.
We can’t afford to go backward, and this upcoming FEC filing deadline is the way to prove we won’t let her win. Will you chip in $20 right now by clicking the link below?
