Andrew Calls On Biden Administration To Reverse Decision To Create An Unofficial U.S. Consulate To Palestinians In Jerusalem
This week, Andrew joined with 80 of his colleagues in the House and Senate to call on the Biden Administration to reverse its plan to evade U.S. law by creating an unofficial U.S. consulate to the Palestinians in Jerusalem. The Trump Administration fully and faithfully implemented the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 by moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and by closing the U.S. Consulate General for the Palestinians in Jerusalem and merging its functions into the U.S. Embassy’s ‘Palestinian Affairs Unit’. The Biden Administration’s plan is an attempt to evade this law and signals support for reversing the Trump Administration’s recognition of Jerusalem is the eternal and undivided capital of Israel. Andrew stands firmly behind the people of Israel, one of our greatest allies, and recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s unequivocal capital.

CASEWORK HIGHLIGHT: Securing SSN for Newborn
A Massapequa Park resident filed for a new social security card for his daughter after she was born through the assistance of a surrogate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Given that the Social Security office could not verify his daughter’s birth due to all records being sealed, her number was never issued and he could not add her to his health insurance, resulting in many medical bills from the hospital. Within 72 hours, our caseworkers discovered a way to clear her application and assign his daughter a Social Security Number.
Andrew knows how frustrating dealing with bureaucracy can be. That is why he has an entire team dedicated to helping constituents get what they need for the federal government. If you need help dealing with a federal agency, contact our office and our team will get to work on your case.
