Today, we gathered with supporters in South Brooklyn to call for Congress to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.

When the Supreme Court draft decision leaked last month, we held a similar rally on Staten Island. And following yesterday’s announcement that the Court had officially struck down Roe v. Wade, we knew we needed to again act fast and call for immediate action.

If Republicans take back the House and gain even a few seats in the Senate this November, there is no telling what kind of Federal limitations on abortion they will seek to implement. Starting right now, it is paramount that each of us stays loud, volunteers, donates when able to, and empowers an overwhelming Democratic Get Out the Vote operation across the country.

So, we’re asking that you consider volunteering with or donating to Max’s campaign early so we have the best chance possible of taking back this crucial seat from our anti-choice opponent.
